Composed of sodium carboxymethylcellulose microfibers with 1.2% silver ions. It is soft, sterile, easy to use, and highly absorbent.
The fibers interact with wound exudate and form a gel. Indicated for moderate to highly exudative wounds, it maintains a moist environment favorable to healing, promotes autolytic debridement, and allows for easy removal. The moist environment and bacterial control contribute to reducing the risk of infection and accelerating healing. It should be used with a secondary dressing. Sterilized with ethylene oxide.
