The Gentell MVP Transparent Dressing is a transparent, moisture-vapor permeable membrane coated with a layer of hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive that can be used to cover low-exudation wounds. Gentell MVP is a sterile, non-absorbent dressing that is permeable to moisture vapor and oxygen, but impermeable to bacteria. It can be used as a secondary dressing for Stage 2 pressure ulcers, abrasions, lacerations, blisters, skin graft donor sites, superficial partial-thickness burns, autolytic debridement, skin protection against moisture, as well as friction and clean, closed surgical incisions. Transparent MVP dressings can also be used to cover and secure intravenous devices.
